Why we do it?
We are firm believers that a little kindness goes a long way, so we set out on a mission to share as much kindness as possible. Not only do we get a little tickle from every Hero Pack we send out to a stranger, but we rest easier knowing the smile we bring can bring even more smiles, and those smiles can bring smiles, and there is no end to how far one good deed, one Random Act of Kindness can go.
We are all Only Human® and that’s what unites us. Because we are all human, we all have similar emotions. We feel alone or sad, from time to time, and that’s perfectly normal. But sometimes, others hurt us, intentionally or not, the pain is still real. It’s those moments that we want to infuse kindness, to dissipate the darkness and set someone back on their feet so they can continue to brave the world and find happiness.
Positive emotions and smiles elicit even more positive emotions and smiles and just imagine what kind of world we would live in if everyone was kind to one another, if everyone smiled and respected one another. We could turn our focus away from what divides us and instead focus on what unites us and become greater as a whole rather than abandoned and divided.
Try it out today. Smile through a frown. Change the way you see your situation. Offer to pay for a stranger’s coffee or sandwich next time you’re out. The smile you bring, could be exactly what that person needed to get back on their path to happiness. The smile you bring is invaluable. And the happiness that you shared makes the world and all of humanity better off.
